Do I need to pre-book my lane at East Street Lanes?

As we carefully reopen our bowling alleys, we strongly suggest that all customers pre-book their visit online during peak weekend periods.
As we have limited capacity, pre-booking your bowl (with a maximum of 6 in a group) will ensure than you can socially distance effectively whilst bowling in our venue.
We’ve worked hard to ensure that your day out will be Covid-secure. Our team take daily temperature checks, undertake an enhanced cleaning regime (including handing you your own sanitised bowling bowl) and hand sanitiser is available throughout the venue. We ask that you wear flat, closed-toe shoes (we aren’t issuing bowling shoes) and also, in order to protect both the staff and other customers, you MUST wear a mask.

How many people can I bring?

We can currently allow a maximum of 6 bowlers per lane from no more than 2 households.

Do I need to wear a mask?

As per government guidelines, all visitors must arrive wearing a mask and keep it on at all times unless seated to drink. Only children under 11 are exempt. Any person over the age of 11 who wishes to request exemption must do so in advance with the management, not on arrival.

If my area is in a local lockdown, can I move my booking?

You are very welcome to reschedule. Simply email the details to hello@eaststreetlanes.co.uk and we will send you confirmation of the change. We can refund if you cancel outside of the 48 hour window prior to your reservation. As stated in our T&Cs, all refunds are subject to a 5% administration charge.

Will the arcades be open?

Yes, we are able to reopen our arcades. Our teams will be ensuring a deep cleaning regime across the arcade area to ensure our customers remain safe. There is also hand sanitiser for customers to use before and after playing arcade games.
Additionally, we have spaced all games to a distance of 2m plus to ensure social distancing from other groups is possible.

Is bowling safe for children at this time?

We like to take good care of the little people so we are ensuring we are doing everything we can to maintain enhanced cleaning between games.
We are asking all adults with children to take responsibility to ensure their children are social distancing.
Further to this, during this period we would ask that you do not arrange to meet another group. This will help to limit the likelihood of social distancing breaking down and help keep everyone within the venue safe.

Can I still get food whilst bowling?

Unfortunately, during this time we will not be serving our delicious food menu. We aim to start food service again on Friday 2nd October so keep your eyes peeled.
We are still offering a wide range of drinks.
